Laird Technologies has released a wide-band/low-band very-high-frequency (VHF) antenna targeted at public safety and state police agencies.
According to the company, the WPC39S0B-001 provides an omnidirectional pattern with vertical polarisation and offers excellent return loss, with no tuning required.

- Designed to work at sustained high vehicle speeds and with a heavy-duty cycle (10 minutes at 100W)
- Operates in the 39–46MHz frequency band with 2dBi gain
- Supports the wide separation of XMT and RCV frequencies, as well as more channel pairs
