EAD offers panel antennas for RFID applications
Embedded Antenna Design
RFID panel antennas
Embedded Antenna Design (EAD) has introduced a range of UHF circularly polarised panel antennas designed for radio-frequency identification (RFID) applications at 868MHz.
The range features five panel antennas from a very compact panel through to a dual-polarised panel antenna.
The CPP868 is a compact panel antenna offering 4dBic gain, measuring 164mm x 164mm x 18mm.
The VCP868 is a very compact panel antenna also offering 4dBic gain, measuring 152mm (diameter) x 8mm (height).
The RFID range is completed with three further panel antennas offering higher performance in compact radomes.
The range will soon be enhanced to address 915MHz frequencies for RFID markets using 915MHz instead of 868MHz.
