Thermal cut-outs monitor heat-sink temperatures

11MP series of thermal cut-outs
ATC Semitec has introduced the 11MP series of thermal cut-outs from PEPI, said to offer a neat solution for both temperature and current overload protection.
The small-size 11MP is capable of switching up to 7A/250V AC, enabling the engineer to use a single protector across a range of transformers or electric motors.
The 11MP has various lead-wire and insulation options - the most popular being the epoxy-coated version, which is tough, offers IP65 isolation and is impervious to most epoxy impregnation processes.
The PEPI 11MP is also suitable for monitoring heat-sink or component temperatures in power electronic applications.
It is UL, C-UL and VDE approved to the latest IEC standards and is readily available with calibrations from 70C to 160C.
