IMO introduces Panel-Point
IMO Precision Controls
Panel-Point
IMO has released Panel-Point, a Windows-based SCADA package.
Panel-Point interacts with process control systems and delivers colour graphics, high levels of data capture and control and a gateway to supervisory data systems.
It has an OPC interface, making data available to any third-party OPC client software.
It optimises the operation of all IMO K and G series of PLCs, plus the small Ismart and I3 controllers and the Jaguar range of drives, including the miniature Idrive.
Panel-Point also supports devices from a range of third party vendors, including Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitusbishi, Omron, Modicon, Hitachi, Control Techniques and Baldor.
Panel-Point is configured using IMO’s Configuration Manager software.
The package offers full colour graphics with animation, unlimited data tags, a VB (visual basic) style scripting language, recipes, alarms and event based actions.
The colour graphics can be configured for any resolution screen, including all popular screen sizes and even custom screen resolutions.
Any screen object can have a touch property, which can trigger a range of actions.
There is no limit on the number of tags with Panel-Point, other than system memory.
The package offers multiple ports and devices, with a range of protocols, both serial and network.
The package includes features such as recipes and trending and alarm and event logs with configurable log viewers.
Historical data logging can be added using IMO’s Loki Data Logger software to complete the SCADA software suite.
Loki is an OPC Client application that logs collected data to Excel, Access or any other database supported by ODBC.
