Touch Window technology
Review Display Systems (RDS) has introduced its Touch Window technology, which can be applied to four, five and eight-wire touch-screen technology.
Touch Window allows designers to utilise the latest look with a simulated flush, sealed bezel image and allows for key switch style operation areas outside the display touch-screen area to be incorporated within the design.
These solutions are bespoke and designed specifically for the customer's application.
A range of standard screen sizes from 3.5in to more than 15in can be modified to included this option, which reduces tooling costs to around USD1,000.
Full customer solutions can be manufactured and Touch Window is ideal for products where manufacturing volumes are above 500 units per lot.
Touch Window can also be used with touch panels needing anti-reflective construction methods to increase readability in high ambient light conditions.
