Nematron Europe is offering a 7.7in STN (Super-Twisted Nematic display) unit, available in two different sizes, as part of its Powerview/CE range of Windows CE.Net-based HMI touch-screen panels.
The Nematron Powerview CE platform shares the same physical dimensions and screen options as its Viewbuilder-based sister product.
Beneath the 5.7in and 7.7in LCD touch screen lies an Intel X-Scale processor (200MHz Intel StrongARM 1110 processor for the 5.7in units), accompanied by computing resources for the CE developer.
Based on Windows CE.Net 4.1, Powerview/CE offers programming and communications tools not generally available with proprietary HMIs, including programmability through Openview Machine Edition/CE HMI/SCADA software and other third-party software programs.
