12.1in SVGA TFT display
Review Display Systems has introduced a 12.1in SVGA TFT display for applications that need long-term supply.
The NEC NL8060BC31-50F offers full backwards and forwards compatibility with a long manufacturing life policy.
NEC's form, fit and function guarantee means that this display doesn't suffer from the uncertainty over supply life that other consumer-related displays may, according to the company.
This display is also using NEC's latest LED technologies, offering long life (MTTF 70,000 hours) and high luminance (800cd/m2).
There is a 800:1 contrast ratio, 160deg viewing cones, both horizontally and vertically, and the device is supplied with a 6-bit digital (TTL) interface.
The backlight system used on the display is on-site replaceable and is available as a spare part.
NEC also offers its own LED driver board that is matched to the display.
The 12.1in TFT display also offers a wide operating temperature range, from -30 to +80C.
