G1050 logistics tablet computer
Arbor has launched the G1050 logistics tablet computer, which has been designed for point-of-sale and logistics use within warehousing and stock-management applications, for example.
G1050 comes with multiple identification devices, including a 1D/2D barcode scanner and RFID reader, as well as a 2.0-megapixel CMOS camera for data retrieval and image capture.
The G1050 is powered by a 1.6GHz Atom Z530P processor and offers multi-network connectivity including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and the Gobi 3000 HSUPA module for facilitating data transmission.
Its chemically resistant panel simplifies cleaning, while its IP54 rating for water, dust, vibration, shock and drop resistance offer protection that helps to keep the system working stably, the company claims.
The system integrates two USB 2.0 ports, a SIM socket, a SD/SDHC card slot, an Express Card 54 and a desktop cradle that supports further expansion such as three USB ports and a LAN port.
