Densitron launches industrial TFT displays
Densitron Display Solutions
Industrial TFT displays
Densitron has introduced a series of industrial TFT displays that is mechanically compatible with active matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) displays.
The range also offers performance akin to AMOLED displays, the company said.
The displays have a slim profile and come in 2.4in, 2.8in and 4.3in.
They offer 800:1 high-contrast ratio and a long-term availability guarantee.
Fringe Field Switching (FFS) technology is utilised by the displays to create up to 170-deg wide viewing angles in horizontal and vertical directions.
A resistive touch-screen version is available for all TFT modules in the range with the 2.4in and 2.8in displays featuring optically bonded touch sensors to enable sunlight readability.
The 2.4in TFT's thickness, resolution and colour depth are identical to a Densitron AMOLED of the same size, and has interfacing (MPU 8/9/16/18-bit) and overall dimensions (42 x 59mm), which are similar to a 2.4in Densitron AMOLED.
