Toggle switch resists moisture and ESD to 8kV
Knitter-Switch
MZME-ESD toggle switch
Knitter-Switch has brought out the MZME-ESD toggle switch, which is designed specifically for use in applications requiring ESD protection and resistance to moisture.
This makes it suitable for use by those involved in designing products and systems for medical applications, home automation and industrial controls.
The UL-listed MZME-ESD series is ESD resistant to 8kV, rated to IP67 and offers a lifetime of 30,000 cycles.
The switches feature gold-plated contacts for the reliable switching of even the smallest currents, although the switch is rated to 20V AC at 0.4V A.
The new toggle switches can be supplied in two terminal styles, either solder lugs or PCB terminals and with a threaded bushing for panel mounting.
As standard, the MZME-ESD series provides single pole, double throw (SPDT) switching contacts, with alternative switch contacts available on request.
The new switches are available from a number of distributors throughout Europe.
Samples are usually available on next-day delivery.
