Alps Electric

SPEJ110100 switch

Alps Electric Europe is offering a tiny momentary-type push switch with detent, which is ideal for mirror control for power window units and for the switching of electric devices in a motor vehicle.

The SPEJ110100 vertically activated SMD switch measures 7mm in width, 7mm in depth and 6mm in height and has a long travel of 1.7mm.

Designed as a two-pole, two-position switch, the SPEJ110100 is rated for switching currents of 0.2A at 14VDC.

The necessary operating force accounts for a maximum of 3.5+/-0.7N.

The SPEJ110100 has an operating life of 10,000 switching cycles.

In addition to the compact dimensions, another important element in automotive applications is the clear clicking sensation, according to the company.

The SPEJ110100 employs proprietary mechanisms to elicit tactile sensation when switching.

Other specifications include a maximum initial contact resistance of 150mohm, an insulation resistance higher than 100Mohm at 500VDC and a voltage proof of up to 500VAC for one minute.

Operating temperatures range from -40C to +85C.

The push switch is suitable for lead-free reflow soldering.

It meets RoHS directives and is available in minimum packaging units of 2,000 pieces.
