Omron switches feature see-saw mechanism
Omron Electronics
A9T switches
A new range of switches from Omron features a see-saw mechanism that offers a positive operational feeling combined with a quick electrical changeover, with minimal risk of sparks and chattering.
Omron has released an A9T toggle switch, an A9P push-button switch and an A9S slide switch around the same core mechanism.
The A9 series shares the same internal structure, featuring a semi-snap see-saw action based on a two-point clip contact mechanism for high-contact reliability.
This structure ensures higher vibration and shock resistance.
A9 switches are designed to prevent grease entering into the contact portion, are sealed against flux entry and are fitted with an O-ring to allow immersion washing.
The A9T toggle variant is offered in momentary and latching form with two or three positions and a standard, flat or anti-electrostatic actuator.
It is available with straight, right-angle, vertical or bracket mounting.
The A9P push-button version is available with straight, right-angle or vertical mounting, with or without a 5mm cap.
It is also offered in latching and momentary versions.
The A9S slide switch is available with two positions (changeover) or three positions (centre-off).
All three are available with SPDT or DPDT contacts.
