MK24 sensors
Meder’s MK24 sensors offer normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) switch options, and require no external power to operate, making them suitable for use in applications with low power and space-limitation requirements such as portable medical and electronic devices.
These sensors are used as control switches or non-contact magnetic proximity sensors for counting, position, limit and liquid-level detection applications.
This non-contact surface-mounted reed sensor has a base reed switch (4mm KSK-1A04) and achieves a minimum life expectancy of 50 million operations at 5V, 5mA, 100Hz.
The reed switch is supplied in tape-and-reel packaging, making it suitable for automatic pick and place.

- Having both types of switch available means a wider variety of applications is possible
- Normally open version is available with three lead options: straight-cut axial, gull wing and J lead
- Normally closed option available with gull-wing and J-lead designs
- All reed sensors are RoHS compliant
- Constructed of a rugged over-moulded package containing the hermetically sealed reed switch
