Knitter Switch offers sealed tact switches
Knitter-Switch
TSE 8 and TSSE 8 switches
Knitter Switch, a European switch manufacturer, has introduced a series of sealed tact switches for industrial input, automotive and medical systems applications where protection to IP67 is required.
The waterproof TSE 8 and TSSE 8 switches offer space savings while providing a switch rating of 1W (maximum 100mA or 42VAC/VDC).
With gold-plated contacts, the tact switches feature a minimum current of 10mA at 20mV.
These RoHS-compliant switches are said to be lead free solderable to 260C.
The TSE 8 and TSSE 8 provide the user with tactile feedback, offer a long operational life of at least one million cycles and are available in both through-hole and surface-mount formats.
Two through-hole designs are available - one that saves board space and one that allows for improved solder joint inspection.
