The AUIPS2051L and AUIPS2052G feature a 70V active clamp and provide a comprehensive set of protection features.

The devices shut down in the event of over-temperature or over-current conditions, restarting once the input is turned off and turned on again, and provide the diagnostic information via a serial resistor connected to the input pin.

Furthermore, the AUIPS205x range is designed using International Rectifier's 75V technology making them suited to any 24V automotive loads, such as solenoids, or as electromechanical relay replacements.

To address the design challenges of today's junction box applications, these robust 75V devices are capable of operating repetitively under short-circuit conditions for extended periods for greater reliability.

The AUIPS2052G is a dual-channel device, while the AUIPS2051L is a single-channel device.

The turn-on and turn-off time are optimised to minimise noise in EMI-sensitive automotive applications.

Both devices also provide ESD protection and low current and logic level input.

The devices are qualified according to AEC-Q100 standards, feature an environmentally friendly, lead-free and RoHS compliant bill of materials and are part of International Rectifier's automotive quality initiative targeting zero defects.
