Fairchild camera switches solve design challenges

Fairchild camera switches
Fairchild Semiconductor's camera-switch portfolio solves design challenges in 3G smart phones, cell phones, set-top boxes, security cameras and notebooks.
For example, Fairchild's FSA1211 features strong isolation.
Higher frequency cell phones, such as smart phones, need to manage parasitics for optimal signal integrity.
As cameras within these phones move to higher resolutions, parasitic components can easily deteriorate signals.
Fairchild answered this challenge with the industry's first image module switch, the FSA1211, to isolate parasitic components up to -45dB of OFF isolation.
The FSA642 provides multi-interface handling capability, allowing it to comply with multiple camera interfaces such as MDDI, MIPI and YUV.
Fairchild's Userdes solutions, the FIN212 (40MHz) and FIN210 (48MHz), allow image processors to be placed anywhere on the board with the added ability of isolating and serialising.
Fairchild has a number of products that tackle the unwanted generation of EMI, including the FSA1211, which reduces the radiated EMI of the signal path to improve RF desense.
Fairchild has also developed camera-switch solutions that feature a low on capacitance (6pF typical) to accommodate a faster data rate and to lower the overall on capacitance.
