Tractor attachment manufacturer uses Penny and Giles joystick controller with new handle
Penny and Giles Controls
JC6000 joystick controller
Penny and Giles has developed a handle for its JC6000 joystick controller, which is being used by McConnel, a developer of tractor-mounted attachments, on its Revolution control system, which was designed for the company’s range of hedge cutters and verge mowers.
The JC6000 joystick has been designed for mobile applications and its rugged build quality makes its suitable for the environments that McConnel operates in, according to Penny and Giles.
The XTC control system, a value-engineered version of a McConnel flagship controller, features a Penny and Giles JC2000 mini joystick controller that replaced a competitor’s model.
Key features
- Handles have two thumbwheels and two switches
- Three proportional controls operate the main functions, all of which can be activated simultaneously with two fingers
- Operational safety is enhanced as lift and angle float are disabled on arm movements and automatically restarted on joystick release
- Controls additional hydraulic services such as diverter valves
