Thumbstick miniature proportional joystick
The Thumbstick hall-effect miniature proportional joystick can be used in pendant and remote controls as well as joystick handle and arm-rest integration for industrial controls, cranes and vehicles.
Made by CH Products and distributed by Foremost Electronics, the Thumbstick is a proportional two-axis joystick in a miniature package.
Featuring non-contact hall-effect technology for long-life performance, the TS Series Thumbstick is available with multiple linear output options, including single and dual (redundant) outputs.
Designed in a rugged industrial package, typical applications include pendant and remote controls, as well as joystick handle and arm-rest integration for industrial controls, cranes, all-terrain, military and commercial vehicles.
Key features of the Thumbstick include control over one or two axes, non-contact hall-effect technology, submersible to 1m per IP68, pressure washable to IP69K, redundant outputs available and rear or drop-in mounting options.
Requiring a 5V DC power source, the Thumbstick has a self-centring action with reliability of greater than 1,000,000 operations and an operating temperature range of -40 to 85C.
It is sealed to IP68 and IP69K, and meets EN61000-4-3 for EMC immunity and EN61000-6-3:2001 for immunity.
It is also ESD rated to EN61000-4-2.
