12mm rotary encoders
Omeg has added 12mm rotary encoders to its portfolio to supplement its range of 16mm and 20mm potentiometers.
Designated the E12 series, the encoders are incremental, digital, 24-pulse, rotary types with conductive tracks and clear plastic 18 T-splined spindles with LED illumination.
Units without switches have a single LED of either red, green or blue.
Units with switches have two LEDs of either blue and green, blue and orange or red and green.
The encoders are rated at DC5V, 0.5mA and can be supplied with an optional switch that is momentary action, single pole, push to make, rated at DC5V, 10mA.
To benefit from the illuminated spindles, transparent control knobs are needed and Omeg offers a choice of four designs ranging from 10.2-18.5mm diameter.
