Aluplus diecast enclosures
Aluplus diecast enclosures from Rolec Enclosures are suitable for industrial applications such as process control equipment, monitoring and detection systems, flow metering, industrial measuring devices and machine controllers.
The enclosures — which are IP66 rated as standard — feature an external design that includes snap-on lid trims that hide the assembly and wall-/panel-mounting screws. According to the company, these give the units a clean appearance with no visible fixing screws, as well as assisting anti-tampering precautions.
In addition, a 1.7mm recessed area is supplied in the lid section as standard for the fitting of membrane keypads or polycarbonate labels.
Aluplus enclosures are offered in four industry-standard sizes: 122 x 120 x 82mm, 220 x 120 x 82mm, 160 x 160 x 90mm and 260 x 160 x 90mm. Rolec is planning to release other standard sizes in the future.
The company offers a full customising service on the enclosures, including CNC milling, drilling, silk-screen printing and the assembly of cable glands and terminals.

- External mounting brackets are not required as the enclosures can be mounted onto a wall, panel or machine housing while still assembled
- Clip-on lid trims can be snapped into place once the unit is mounted
- Enclosures are manufactured in GD AL Si 12 / DIN 1725 diecast aluminium material
- They are powder painted in a textured light grey (RAL 7035)
- Screw bosses are provided in the base and lid for components such as PCBs, mounting plates and earth connections (screws included)
- The enclosures can be specified to IP67 and IP69K with special factory-fitted gaskets
- Accessories include lid fixing screws with integrated retaining straps that keep the lip in place when installing and servicing the unit
