Fujitsu FTP-62D thermal printer
Fujitsu Components has introduced the FTP-62D, a space-saving, high-speed thermal printer designed to accommodate paper roles partially inside the module, allowing for small designs such as labels.
Inclusion of the paper roll saves up to 8mm in height in comparison to a conventional printer design, with no compromise in functionality.
The FTP-62D supports high-speed printing up to 100mm/s at 9.5V and is capable of handling large paper rolls in a minimum possible space.
Easily portable, this printer has a compact size of 69.4 x 46 x 19mm and weighs around 37g.
Head pressure is controlled by a new spring design that combines several functions, such as: stable head pressure for achieving the best print results; earthing the thermal head, preventing damage due to ESD; and low mounting height.
The FTP-62D printer offers a printing life of minimum 100 million pulses/50km and has label-printing capabilities.
It is suitable for a wide variety of printing purposes and applications; from label printing (straight paper path) to integration in POS systems.
