TFT display module
Hitachi Europe - Display Products Group has announced the introduction of a 10.4in TFT display module featuring Hitachi's IPS (in-plane switching) display technology.
The TX26D12VM0AAA features an aspect ratio of 4:3 and a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels (SVGA).
A high-brightness, long-life LED backlight with an integrated dimming function enables ease of control of the backlight brightness in differing ambient lighting conditions.
Hitachi's industrial display module product line up continues to implement IPS technology, which provides a stable colour image from any viewing angle, excellent colour saturation and a high contrast ratio.
Suitable for use in process control displays, diagnostic systems and monitoring applications, the TX26D12VM0AAA display provides a contrast ratio of 800:1 and brightness of 450cd/m.
The use of IPS technology allows the TX26D12VM0AAA display module to support viewing angles of 170deg in both horizontal and vertical planes without any reduction in contrast.
'Customers in industrial markets can now benefit from the high contrast and wide viewing angles achieved with Hitachi's IPS technology,' said Steve Donohoe, technical manager for Hitachi Display Products Group.
The 20-pin LVDS input signal interface enables the TX26D12VM0AAA to be used remotely of any driving electronics.
The LVDS interface also provides support for either 6-bit or 8-bit RGB display data enabling up to 262K or 16.7M colours to be displayed.
The 10.4in display module has external dimensions of 243mm x 185.1mm x 11mm, an operating temperature range of -20C to +70C, and weighs 560g.
The company has also introduced the TX26D12VM0APA, which features an integrated analogue resistive touch panel.
Suitable for many industrial applications requiring a high visibility display image, the TX26D12VM0AAA and TX26D12VM0APA can be used in public information displays, security surveillance, video monitoring and many other high-end industrial applications.
