FSTN modules suit handheld products used outside
GTK
Chip on Glass (COG) FSTN modules
GTK offers a range of standard Chip on Glass (COG) FSTN modules that are suitable for use in applications such as utility metering, smart meters, cash-counting devices and other portable products.
The technology is suitable for handheld products or applications where the display is used outdoors, where it will be exposed to direct sunlight and where low battery power is required.
The contrast is enhanced when in direct sunlight and readability improves, with good view angles and contrast in all view directions.
The standard product range is available in a variety of resolution options from 128 x 64 through to 240 x 160.
This product is cost effective, has low power consumption and an operating temperature range between -200 to +700C.
The module is also available with a choice of backlight options, including white, blue and green.
In addition to the standard range of modules, GTK can provide full custom solutions for customers.
