GPEG International has a new range of character-based OLED modules, beginning with the FDO1602A, a two-line 16-character-per-line display in the industry standard size of 84 x 44 x 9.4mm.
With a character size of 5.56 x 2.96mm and a viewing area of 65 x 14mm, the module is ideal for portable handheld equipment, instrumentation and medical equipment.
Using a PT6880 compatible controller chip the OLED will directly replace conventional LCDs with the benefit of a wide viewing angle, typically 160 degrees both horizontally and vertically, and a high contrast ratio of of 100:1.
Available in blue, green, yellow and red, these displays offer a high-contrast high-brightness low-power display that is superior to conventional LCD equivalents.
