Shenzhen introduces EBT LCD technology
Shenzhen Santech Display
EBT LCD technology
EBT LCD is a high-performance display for automotive as well as consumer and industrial applications that require exceptional contrast ratios and good viewing angles.
This product is able to replace black mask type LCD.
EBT LCD technology is optimised for all applications in negative mode with white LED backlight.
The display will have neutral dark background in the whole temperature range with bright white segments.
The dye doped liquid crystal, which is adjusted to the backlight, is key to the technology.
EBT displays are available for multiplex ratios until 1:8.
For higher ratios, the company recommends FSTN technology.
Product applications include car stereo, dashboard, watches, billboards, automatic equipment and instrument control.
