GPEG TFT features 'low-reflection' technology

GPEG International has released an 8.4in (21.3cm) VGA 640 x 480 pixel TFT display, which features 'low-reflection' technology for enhanced viewing in high-ambient-light conditions.
The FDO-084-04 display is treated with a special anti-reflection coating that, according to the company, significantly reduces reflections on its surface while maintaining a sharp easy-to-read image.
It is suitable for outdoor applications or indoor locations that are exposed to high-ambient-light conditions.
The FDO-084-04 features a CMOS interface for simple integration, a brightness of 500cd/m2 and a high contrast of 500:1.
The display can be ordered with an optional analogue resistive touch panel and a USB controller.
The TFT will display 256K colours and has an operating temperature range of -20C to +70C.
This display is suitable for applications in the medical, marine, industrial control systems and portable test equipment markets.
