VGA TFT display module
The 6.5in VGA TFT display module from GPEG International features a high-brightness long-life LED backlight and an extended operating temperature range of -30C to 85C.
This display is claimed to be suitable for use in equipment that requires excellent readability while operating under harsh conditions.
These include outdoor and industrial applications such as portable information terminals, test equipment, industrial plant and machinery and access-control systems.
The 640x480 pixels RGB (VGA) TFT LCD module uses amorphous silicon transmissive LCD technology and an LED backlight to achieve typical brightness levels of 700cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 600:1.
The LED backlight supports wide range dimming control using PWM and has a lifetime of 50,000 hours.
A wide left-right viewing angle of 160deg further underlines the display's adaptability in real-world industrial applications.
Capable of displaying up to 262,000 colours, the display features an integrated low-voltage differential signalling (LVDS) interface.
The module has an active area of 132.5mm x 99.40mm contained within its overall dimensions of 153mm x 118mm x 10.90mm.
