New manufacturing techniques enable Digital Displays to offer custom designed LCDs that can be virtually any shape.
Be it circular - with or without a hole in the middle, oval, pentagon, hexagon or octagonal Digital Displays can design and manufacture the display to exact requirements.
Dependant on the overall LCD design criteria, modules can be manufactured using COB (chip-on-board) or COG (chip-on-glass) technologies.
All the usual LCD features are available including, STN, FSTN, reflective, transflective or transmissive modes and standard or wide temperature operation.
Digital Displays can incorporate LED or electroluminescent backlights into the module if required.
Minimum order quantity is a very reasonable 1000 pieces, and tooling charges are typically less than GBP 2000.
