Surtech Distribution, an enclosures and accessories distributor, has announced that it can provide customers with custom power-distribution units (PDUs) on fast lead times.
The company's method of modular assembly at its Andover facility allows custom PDUs to be manufactured and supplied to customers or directly mounted into rack assemblies within two to three days.
Custom PDUs are available in horizontal (19in mounting) and vertical versions with a wide choice of 13A outlet, IEC outlet, fuse-holders, neon-mains indicators, neon-mains switch, miniature circuit breakers, digital ammeters and various sizes of spacers.
Surtech Distribution can assemble the PDUs in any order required by the customer up to 20-way, with fly-lead lengths and connectors to suit application requirements.
The individual slide-in modules are assembled into cut-to-length extruded channels, then wired and fully tested.
Customers can also specify their own company or brand colours for the extrusion bodies, subject to minimum quantities, and may also brand the PDU with their logo.
Technical specifications include: 16A-rated wiring, internal earth stud (external also available), and combined switch/neon red high-rush inlets.
Manufactured from robust aluminium, the PDUs all have finger guards for safety.
