Alucase diecast aluminium enclosures
The Alucase series from Rolec comes ready prepared for mounting electronic components, such as keypads, as well as accessories, such as hinges, locks, wall brackets and so on.
For example, it is not necessary to machine the lid section to fit a membrane keypad or product label, because a 2mm recess is already provided.
External mounting brackets are no longer required, as the enclosures can be mounted on a wall or machine while still assembled.
Rolec claims that, as a result, design engineers only have to specify the machining and finishing required for their specific components.
Key specifications
- Can be machined on any external surface
- Lid retaining straps mean external hinges are not needed
- Integrated hinges can be pre-fitted if required
- Trims are clipped on after unit is mounted
- IP67 rated as standard, can be specified to IP69K
- 24 standard sizes available, with external dimensions from 75 x 50 x 33mm to 330 x 200 x120mm.
- Powder-painted in window grey, RAL 7040 as standard
- Any RAL colour available on request
- Control legends and logos can be silk-screened or engraved on
