According to the company, its three latest models — all painted black — are suitable for heavier industrial applications.

The enclosures are made up of a diecast front bezel on a fabricated aluminium case body and rear-panel assembly. The rear panel features mounting points for fixing the PCBs and fitting the enclosure to a wall or machine, while the underside of the body can be used for cable glands or connectors. The front bezel has a recessed aperture for mounting an anodised aluminium front panel.

The enclosures are offered in three standard sizes: 250 x 180 x 120mm, 350 x 250 x 120mm and 400 x 300 x 120mm.

Customers can also request Datamet enclosures with modifications such as additional holes for pushbuttons, connectors and displays as well as silk-screen printed legends and logos. They can also be manufactured in non-standard sizes and painted in different colours.
