BSV MP3 voice annuciator
Motion29 has introduced an ultra-thin MP3 voice annuciator from Patlite that is designed to complement the miniaturisation of modern production-line equipment.
The BSV model — which has a depth of just 19.9mm — is said to be straightforward to install and incorporates a built-in sound-reduction function to limit noise pollution and power dissipation.
The device is able to reach a maximum sound of 87dB (at 1m) in normal operation mode.
According to the company, volume adjustment is accessible from the front panel, while a low power of 3.5W maximum takes an extra load off the power supply.
The speaker structure is designed to repel water, meaning that the MP3 voice annunciator can be exposed to environments where rain showers or similar may be present.
