Ohmite releases MV/MA 302 heatsink with fin extensions for thermal performance

Ohmite has released a larger version of its MV/MA 102 heatsink, the MV/MA 302.
Designed for applications requiring high-power densities and where forced air cooling is present, the MV/MA 302 has long fin extensions.
According to the company, this results in nearly twice the thermal performance the previous model had.
The heatsink can be configured to fit packaging designs or to meet specific power dissipation by using the configure-to-fit and scale-to-meet options.
Originally designed for the Ohmite TEH70, TEH100 and TFH85 resistors, the company claims customers using any active devices in TO-247 or TO-264 packages will benefit from this heatsink.
