The range now features more case sizes and a larger selection of intermediate rings, including wider versions for increased case height, plain models with no eyelets — suitable for handheld-only devices — and a ring that has an aperture for fitting a USB connector.

Minitec multi-coloured housings are offered in two basic designs: Edge (rectangular-style cases) and Drop (droplet-style cases). They are now available in eight sizes ranging from 51 x 32 x 13mm to 84 x 53 x 19mm.

The cases are made up of a top part, a bottom part and a soft intermediate ring. Top and bottom sections are manufactured from off-white or lava grey ABS or black infrared transparent PMMA (UL 94 HB).

By selecting correct versions and colour combinations, users can configure their enclosures from individual case parts. In addition, OKW can supply fully customised enclosures with modifications such as holes for keypads, connectors and LEDs, silk-screen printed legends and logos and EMC shielding.
