Combimet 19in rack cases from Metcase can be used for rack mounted test and measurement devices, audio and video systems and networking and communications equipment.

The rack-mount enclosures are manufactured from lightweight aluminium, and consist of an anodised 19in front panel, painted front panel handles, side panels, top and base — in either light grey (RAL 7035) or black (RAL 9005) — and a recessed rear panel that can be removed.
All of the fabricated parts of the case are fitted with M4 earth studs to allow electrical continuity, and the panels on the top and base feature a series of holes that enable PCB mounting pillars or internal mounting plates to be fitted.
A customising service is also offered by Metcase, which can produce cases with alterations such as made-to-measure sizes, CNC punching, milling and drilling and silk-screen printing. Additionally, ventilated models with perforated top and base panels are offered.
The units are all supplied fully assembled, with prices starting from £64.
