New standard for IT racks

Flexrack (i)
Rittal reckons it has developed a completely new standard for IT racks with an evolutionary addition to its successful Flexrack product range.
Rittal reckons it has developed a completely new standard for ITracks with an evolutionary addition to its successful Flexrackproduct range.
The concept of the new Flexrack (i) is aninnovative multifunction profile with system duct, which can beused for cabling, power supply and/or cooling water supply, without loss of inner enclosure volume.
The new 19in Flexrack (i)is available in heights ranging from 11 to 47U, widths of 600 and800mm and depths ranging from 650 to 1050mm, which facilitatearbitrary baying on all levels, even around corners, and upwardswhen conditions permit, Cable management options provide thehighest level of flexibility.
Cables can be laid vertically inthe frame section, or horizontally positioned through theadditional space, which is created via adaptors for the reardoor.
The two-level principle provides further flexibility indepth and enables a cascade method of cable management to beemployed.
The Flexrack (i) can be equipped with the Rittal PSMpower system module.
A power rail is integrated in themultifunction profile, on which individually fused power supplymodules can be mounted.
Rittal's PCS power cooling system, aliquid-based climate control concept, dissipates heat directly atthe point of generation, ie the processor, with silent operatingreliability.
Two system packages are available, which comprise acooling circuit distributor for 20 or 40 CPUs, connectioncomponents and a mini recooling system.
This can also beintegrated via the multifunction profile.
For the first time theCMC (computer multi control) and access control can be directlyintegrated in the enclosure without loss of height units.
Afterremoval of a panel the enclosure can accept the appropriatepreconfigured and cabled equipment.
