Rittal has extended its range of 19in rack-mounted systems for industrial computing with space-saving 1 and 2U housings for ATX, Mini-ATX and Micro-ATX computer main board configurations.
Rittal has extended its range of 19in rack-mounted systems forindustrial computing with space-saving 1 and 2U housings for ATX,Mini-ATX and Micro-ATX computer main board configurations, and a1U keyboard drawer with 381mm (15in) TFT foldaway display.
Forapplications where limited plug-in options are required, the 1and 2U high housings are supplied complete with a "risercard" for installation of one or two PCI cards.
Bothhousings include power supplies with power factor correction,fans for cooling and carriers for 5.25 and 3.5in drive units withoptions for additional drives.
To maintain optimum use of theavailable height, a 1U 482.6mm (19in) keyboard drawer has beenintroduced, adaptable on its telescopic slides to fit racks from500 to 900mm deep.
A flat panel display folds down when thedrawer is closed and switches off to conserve energy and a mousemat and keyboard may be added.
All connections are made at therear of the drawer.
A display is also available separatelymounted in a 7U (310mm) high panel offering a dust- andsplash-proof assembly.
