USB interface chip has demonstrator PCB and driver

Elan Digital Systems

USBHC869 USB interface chip

The USBHC869 USB interface chip from Elan now has a demonstrator PCB including SDK driver code to help engineers speed up the development task of implementing the capability of the chip.

Windows CE and Linux (Android) driver software are also available for the chip.

The USBHC869 chip is designed to provide a solution for adding USB host function to low-cost microcontroller systems.

The device measures 16mm2, offers maximum system design flexibility, low power and low cost, according to Elan.

On-board PLL allows the use of the system clock and eliminates the need for an additional crystal.

Multi-standard I/O voltages of 3.3, 2.8 or 1.8V are supported, reducing the additional system component count.
