Trident-CL defluxing/cleanliness testing system
Aqueous Technologies has announced that, with the purchase of a Trident-CL, customers will receive a free Zero-Ion ROSE Tester or Ultrasonic Stencil Cleaner during the month of July.
Trident-CL is a fully closed-loop, zero-discharge fully automatic defluxing and cleanliness testing system.
It captures, filters and re-deionises all of its process water, eliminating the need for a drain line.
Trident-CL is equipped with Focus Wash technology, said to be highly effective in high-density, low-profile defluxing applications.
A powerful multi-impeller stainless-steel pump delivers precisely controlled fluid to 20 rotating stainless-steel spray nozzles.
The nozzles are designed to reduce the fluid droplet size for improved under-component penetration.
The Zero-Ion ROSE Tester is designed to test electronics assemblies for ionic contamination.
It automatically removes and detects contamination on an electrical assembly or bare board and provides quantitative contamination measurements.
The Zero-Ion meets the requirements of military and commercial cleanliness-testing standards including MIL 2000A, IPC test method 001, MIL-C-28809, MIL-P-55110 and IPC TM650-2.3.26.
It has been reviewed by the US Naval Air Weapons Center and determined to be the most sensitive ionic-contamination tester available.
It has also been determined to be 3.7 times more sensitive than the manual resistivity of solvent extract (ROSE) test.
The Zero-Ion performs cleanliness tests automatically and features a Windows PC-based control platform with a 15in LCD touchscreen interface.
Ultrasonic Stencil Cleaners use precisely controlled sound waves to remove un-reflowed solder paste and uncured adhesives from stencils, screens and misprints.
Ultrasonic energy is gentle enough not to damage delicate parts, but is effective in removing even dried pastes on fine-pitch stencils.
