Extended-reach tips
Virtual Industries, a supplier of manual vacuum-handling solutions, has introduced the the Extended Reach series of substrate-handling tips for solar cells, wafers or flat panels.
The extended-reach tips are available in three sizes to allow reaching up to 200mm into an area to pick up a substrate.
Substrates handled can range from 4in (100mm) to more than 12in (300 mm) in size.
The tips can be used with any of the company's wafer wands.
They handle temperatures up to 212F (100C).
Part numbers from the smallest to the largest size are VMWT-B-EX200, VMWT-C-EX200 and VMWT-D-EX200.
Prices start at USD84.10 (GBP51.12) for single quantities.
