Metcal APR-5000-DZ
OK International is offering its customers the chance to part-exchange the BGA Rework system for a GBP1,600 reduction on the Metcal system.
Anyone taking advantage of the deal will also receive a free Reflow Nozzle kit worth GBP1,600.
The Metcal APR-5000-DZ Array Package Rework System features dual convection bottom-side heating.
It is suitable for high thermal demand boards including lead-free and multi-layer assemblies.
The APR-5000-DZ enables fast ramp and higher delta temperature control for targeted and controlled rework.
It also features user prompts to simplify training.
The APR-5000-DZ system protects components directly adjacent to the rework zone and other temperature devices on the board.
The Reflow nozzle allows electronics professionals to rework components where vacuum pick-up is not an option.
Odd-form components such as through-hole parts, connectors, potentiometers, sockets and PoP (package-on-package) devices can be removed and placed easily.
The offer is valid until 31 December 2008.
