Yestech has announced that it will showcase a number of inspection systems at this year's Productronica event.
The YTV BX system, which will be on show, is claimed to offer AOI benchtop printed-circuit-board (PCB) inspection with good defect coverage.
Using 5-megapixel colour imaging technology, the YTV BX inspects solder joints and verifies correct part assembly to improve quality and increase throughput.
The four side-viewing cameras add inspection capabilities that are usually only found on inline systems, according to the company.
For inline inspection, visitors can see the YTV FX, which, with top-down and side-viewing cameras, offers a high-speed PCB inspection capability, all in true colour.
Online and offline automated X-ray inspection equipment will be represented by Yestech's recently launched X-Series systems, offering the complete inspection of solder joints and other critical hidden features found in electronic assemblies, PCBs and packaged semiconductors.
A 3D tomosynthesis image gathering technique, combined with programming software, makes the inspection of hidden joints on double-sided boards clear and precise.
Visitors seeking conformal coating inspection can view the YTV FUV, which is claimed to simplify coating tests by automating the inspection process for the quality, consistency and thickness of coatings under ultraviolet lighting with the use of proprietary inspection algorithms.
