STI Electronics offers training kits
STI Electronics
Training kits
The Training Materials Division of STI Electronics provides resources to support process development and solder/assembly training.
These resources are available as standardised kits and materials or customised for specific applications.
Standardised training kits are used in certification programmes for industry segments such as IPC, NASA, commercial and company-specific programmes.
In addition to the standardised training programme support materials, STI Electronics provides custom training materials ranging from chip scale and BGA to through-hole and terminal attachments.
STI also provides cable and harness kits to support cable fabrication programmes.
Process development kits for machine applications provide an opportunity to evaluate operation capabilities for issues such as fine-pitch production and lead-free materials.
To support training and production operations, STI Electronics is an authorised distributor of IPC standards and IPC training resources.
All of the current industry standards, manuals, handbooks, videos and training programmes are available through STI.
Tools that enhance production and training operation have been created through the Training Materials Division of STI.
For example, BGA reballers allow recovery of BGA components by restoring spheres or installing original spheres on new BGA packages.
STI has reballers and specifications for several hundred BGA components on file.
