PIC 700 material
PI Ceramic (PIC) is offering PIC 700 material, a lead-free piezo material whose high coupling factor for flexural vibration makes it suitable as an ultrasonic transducer in the MHz range, as well as for sonar and hydrophone applications.
Based on bismuth-sodium-titanat (BNT) and produced as a block by pressing technology, the PIC 700 material’s maximum operating temperature is 200°C.
PI Ceramic claims it is currently investigating technologies to reliably manufacture lead-free ceramic components in series production.
Listed below is a range of other products recently launched by the company.
