Krayden offers Dow Corning lubricant and sealant

The compound offers water resistance, low vapour pressure, low volatility and a wide service temperature range of -40C/-40F to 200C/392F.

The Dow Corning Molykote 111 lubricant and sealant is a heavy consistency dimethyl silicone compound that offers resistance to most chemicals, both organic and inorganic.

This lubricant is used as a damping medium for dash pots in electrical and electronic equipment and as a sealant for vacuum pressure systems in aircrafts.

It also prevents gaskets from sticking to metal, resists weathering and water washout and is an anti-stick sealant for transformer gasket and equipment enclosures.

It can also act as a chemical barrier coating for rubber and plastic O-rings, gaskets and seals, for lubrication in control and pressure plug valves, as well as for water softener and faucet valves.

The Molykote 111 compound features NSF 51, NSF 61 approval and is acceptable as a release agent under FDA 21 CFR 175.300, when used in accordance with this regulation.

Dow Corning 111 valve lubricant and sealant is said to maintain a serviceable consistency from approximately -70F to 400F (-57C to 204C).

Available in various container sizes, Molykote 111 can be applied by hand, specially designed automated equipment and by brushing or wiping.
