Texas Instruments and Element14, Premier Farnell’s online community for electronic design engineers, are launching the DK-LM3S9D96 development kit, a platform for developing systems around the capabilities of the 32-bit Stellaris ARM Cortex-M3-based microcontroller.

Available via Element14 at a promotional price while supplies last, the DK-LM3S9D96 development kit is an out-of-the-box platform for building ARM-based embedded systems.

For design, the kit includes hardware, software, source code, drivers and application examples, and for development, it comes with features commonly used in networking, industrial controls and HMI designs.

The DK-LM3S9D96 comes with an external peripheral interface (EPI), features a 3.5in TFT LCD display and supports USB connection, as well as a range of serial I/O and Ethernet features.
