Orchid Technology has introduced Atom processor technology core design to produce highly integrated circuit board solutions customised to specific applications needs.
A typical Orchid Technologies' client in the fanless industrial space may require customised GPIO, or special data logging features, specialised precision analogue electronics, or the integration of a specialised DSP front end.
Orchid Technologies can combine its clients' specialised electronic circuitry with its existing Atom core design to create a highly integrated design solution.
Orchid is also able to customise BIOS, which results in an optimised IA32 solution tuned specifically to client needs.
