Operating system to appear at Embedded World

The exhibition will host the first European public demonstration of the Integrity-178B OS, EAL6 plus-certified to protect classified information against sophisticated hackers.

In addition to the high security focus, the company will also be demonstrating Integrity in industrial, avionics and other applications where high reliability is essential.

Integrity has been certified by the National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP), a US Government initiative operated by the National Security Agency (NSA), to Common Criteria Evaluation Assurance Level (EAL) 6 plus, High Robustness.

An EAL6 plus High Robustness operating system is certified to protect classified information and other high-value resources at risk of attack from hostile and well-funded attackers.

The Integrity operating system also includes certification and compliance with other demanding government and industry software reliability standards.

Among these are RTCA/DO-178B Level A, an avionics safety certification granted by the US Federal Aviation Administration and the European Aviation Safety Agency, FDA Class III, for life-critical medical devices, approved by the US Food and Drug Administration, and IEC 61508 SIL 3, an industrial safety certification granted by TUV.
