Kongsberg selects Integrity for missile programme

Kongsberg Defence Systems has selected Green Hills Software's Integrity real-time operating system and Multi integrated development environment for the Joint Strike Missile programme.
This development will additionally utilise the Green Hills Probe advanced hardware debugger and networking middleware.
Kongsberg will use the Integrity real-time operating system in multiple, multi-core computers on the Joint Strike Missile, which is being developed initially for the Royal Norwegian Air Force.
The Joint Strike Missile will be mounted externally or internally in the bomb bay of the Lockheed Martin F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.
It is intended for anti-surface warfare and naval fire support missions over sea and land.
In parallel, the Green Hills Software products will be used in the telemetric, safety launch and planning software for the Joint Strike Missile programme.
