Kozio design suite supports Omap 4 platform
Kozio
kDiagnostics Design Suite
Kozio has announced the expansion of its in-system diagnostics solution to support Texas Instruments' Omap 4 platform and surrounding technologies, including displays and cameras.
Users of the Omap 4 platform are now able to take full advantage of Kozio's kDiagnostics Design Suite to simplify the development process.
This packaged circuit board test solution requires no design changes or extra equipment and eliminates the need for Omap 4 platform developers to write their own test code.
Using kDiagnostics, an Omap 4 platform-specific validation check list is produced for the developer in minutes.
The kDiagnostics Design Suite is usable across all product phases.
The complete Kozio solution is a suite of software tools for board diagnostics, binary image downloading, in-system programming, automated board testing and power-on self-test.
The Kozio architecture has two main components: a target diagnostics application and one or more host applications.
The kDiagnostics Design Suite includes kDiagnostics - a binary application personalised to customers' hardware that executes from the CPU on a processor-based embedded system; and a single floating licence of Validation Assistant - a host-based application that provides a graphical user interface for interactively executing tests, downloading images, performing in-system programming of devices such as Flash memory and troubleshooting assembly or design errors.
